Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 for Retail POS- Special Orders(With Scenario's)

Ax Retail 2012 will help the Retail store users to create the special orders on the customers  requirements.

Scenario:- 

Jens is the Retail Manager in Univercell. When ever any customer walk-ins into the store, he wants to satisfy all the customer product delivery needs.  So instead of delivering the products from the physical availability in the store, Jens can process the special order in following scenario's.

• Whenever product is not physically available in the store.
• Some time customer may need the Item in the future delivery dates.  
• Customer wants to pick the Products from near by Store. 

Creation of special order in POS:- 

Jens selected the Item in the POS and clicks on Create order button to create the special order.

Special order creation in Ax Retail 2012

 Enter the Order information as per the below screen shot.

 

Enter the Customer related information 

Tip:- POS user can search the customer information by clicking on Search button in the Customer information Tab.

 Shipping and Delivery information

Ship All :- This feature enables the user to Ship all the Item at a time 

Pick up All:- This feature enables the user to Pick all the Items from Store location.
User can select the Desired Store

Mixed delivery :- This feature enables the customer to deliver the order in mixed way like for example Few items will pick directly from store, and few items will be delivered on the basis of Delivery schedule.

Ex:- If the Item is not available in any of the stores, or customer wants it to deliver to other location, then POS user can directly deliver the Item to the shipping address with the help of following form.









Once every thing is done, Click on save and finish the order.

 Retail Head quarters:- Once the Order is being created in POS then a Sales order will get create in the Account receivable module. This order will take all the data including Devilry schedule will take from the POS. From here Stnd: Axapta functionality will be executed.
